Directions

UMass is reached by following signs from the center of Amherst or Route 9 in Hadley.

Bartlett Hall is in the main part of campus, near Herter, Curry Hicks Cage, and Goodell. The campus maps available from the UMass web site show Bartlett "below" Goodell.

While these maps do not show parking, you will find lots off Massachusetts Ave. and Commonwealth Ave. The PDF map shows the numbered parking lots. Note that there are many steps from lot 40 to Bartlett. If this is a problem, you may prefer the slightly longer walk from lots along Massachusetts Avenue.

Meters are not enforced after 5:00 pm. Parking regulations are strictly enforced before 5:00 with ticketing and towing possible for violations. After 5:00, you may park in any legal parking space. (Ticketing and towing from handicapped and tow zones occurs around the clock.)

For the latest information or if you wish to participate in the Western Massachusetts SIG, contact Sheila Rainford at or (413) 253-7204
