STC Region 1 Conference Coordinator

Description/Responsibilities
STC Region 1 is planning a regional conference that is tentatively scheduled for the fall of 2004.

You will work with representatives of other Region 1 chapters (Northern NE, Philly, Metro NY, Southwest Ontario, etc.) to conceive, schedule, promote, and present the conference.

You will likely be involved in monthly teleconference meetings for the next 6 months or so, and then become involved in shared action items to make the conference happen.

Skills/Experience

• Planning skills
• Creativity
• Experience with setting up similar kinds of meeting is a plus
• Communication and coordination skills

Time Commitment
Monthly meetings for about 6 months, then the focus will shift to shared action items to make the conference happen.
